1. Terminator Genisys
Release date: 1st July 2015
People’s favorite machine is back yet again with another installment in the famous Terminator series.
This will be the 5th movie of the series and will act as a reboot, discarding all continuity and recreating new characters.
Arnold Schwarzenegger will reprise the role of Terminator with new cast including the very talented Jason Clarke, of Zero Dark Thirty and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes fame, and Emilia Clarke, famous for her portrayal of Daenerys Targaryen a.k.a Khaleesi in the popular HBO series Game of Thrones.
A must watch for all the Terminator and Arnold fans as the makers plan a new beginning for the famous series.
2. Ant-Man
Release date: 17th July 2015
The twelfth installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is set to introduce one of their more unlikely heroes to those who are not familiar.
Scott Lang, a petty criminal acquires a suit that has the astonishing ability to shrink in size, but increase in strength.
He must protect the Ant-Man technology and save his mentor whilst planning and pulling off a heist that will save the world.
With Paul Rudd in the titular role, this one’s sure of getting a few laughs out of you while providing great entertainment and action at the same time.
3. Mission: Impossible- Rogue Nation
Release date: 31st July 2015
Tom Cruise is here again, this time with his most impossible mission: To eradicate an international rogue organization, bent on killing Ethan Hunt and his team.
Jeremy Renner and Simon Pegg will be returning as Brandt and Benji respectively with the very talented Alec Baldwin joining the cast too.
The movie’s predecessor was the highest grossing Mission:Impossible film of the series and it will be interesting to see if this installment surpasses the previous.
The movie hasn’t even been released and a sequel is already under development!
4. Fantastic Four
Release date: 7th August 2015
Another upcoming superhero movie from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Fantastic Four will be a reboot of the famous franchise, releasing a decade after the first Fantastic Four movie.
The film takes a shift from the actual origin of the superhero team and presents a contemporary re-imagining of the four. No actor from the previous Fantastic Four movies is appearing in this adaptation as the cast gets a reset too.
It will be intriguing to see how the audience takes to the reboot of the series and the characters’ origins.
5. Macbeth
Release date: 2nd October 2015
Hail Macbeth! That shalt be King. Based on William Shakespeare’s famous play, this adaptation is already gaining plaudits for the compelling performances of the lead actors and the brilliant direction of the movie.
The Academy Award nominee, Michael Fassbender is set to play the titular role with Marion Cotillard as Lady Macbeth.
The movie premiered at the 2015 Cannes festival to critical acclaim and received a 10-minute standing ovation from everyone present. The audience is on the edge of their seats already for this one!
6. The Martian
Release date: 2nd Oct 2015
The film centers around Mark Watney (Matt Damon) who is on a manned mission to Mars with his crew and is presumed dead by them after a fierce storm separates him from the team.
With only scant amount of supplies, and his intelligence he must find a way to send a signal to earth that he’s still alive.
Based on a best-selling novel of the same name, this one is sure to give you goosebumps and keep you glued to your seats till the very end.
7. Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension
Release date: 23rd Oct 2015
One for all the fans of the horror genre, the well-known series is back with its 6th and final installment of the Paranormal Activity series.
The final installment is set to answer all the questions left behind by the previous movies of the series and finally close the chapter.
This one is sure to provide us with much chills and horror, so watch at your own risk!
8. Spectre
Release date: 6th Nov 2015
The 25th James Bond film will see Daniel Craig reprise the role of the illustrious secret agent, 007, James Bond.
Riding on the success of the previous movie, this one takes off from where the other one ended and presents us with another incredible mission for the remarkable British agent.
With the hugely talented Academy Award winner, Christoph Waltz set to play the antagonist and Monica Bellucci as the Bond Girl, ladies and gents, we’re in for a treat.
9. By The Sea
Release date: 13th Nov 2015
An upcoming drama film, written and directed by the beautiful Angelina Jolie. The film stars Jolie and her husband Brad Pitt in the main role, their first collaboration since Mr. and Mrs. Smith.
The movie is a historical period drama, set in the France of 1970 where a couple, travel together, drifting apart, only brought together by the events that unfold thereafter.
When the cast includes such splendid, good-looking actors, it’s hard to give it a miss.
10. Star Wars: Episode VII- The Force Awakens

The last and by no means the least, the much awaited Star Wars movie. It will be the first film of the planned third Star Wars trilogy.
